We're still swooning over the seven exceptional bathrooms that took home the prize in our 2016 Baths of the Year contest for their exemplary design, innovation and style. Small or large, all of these stunning baths are sure to inspire you.
Platinum Winners:
The Design Source, more than 200 square feet
Why the judges love it: This doesn’t feel like a bathroom. It has such style. The storage cabinet is heaven! The bath has a custom feel, and the floorplan is fantastic.
Schneider Kennedy Design, 126-200 square feet
Why the judges love it: This beautifully designed bathroom is not over the top. We love the curved cabinetry and curved wainscoting panel. The tile detail is great, especially the way the designer incorporated the fleur de lis. The little pop of dark in the light floor tile carries the detail throughout the space.
Castle Design, less than 125 square feet
Why the judges love it: All elements of this bath design are pulled through nicely. It is so simple yet sophisticated, sleek and clean. We love how the splash of blue tile in the shower matches the wall color. The stone shower bench is beautiful and functional.
Why the judges love it: The designers of this powder room packed a lot of sparking in a little space. So glam! The rustic feel of the wood floor against the sparkle of the tile is a great balance.
Gold Winners:
Beautiful Rooms, LLC, less than 125 square feet
Why the judges love it: This bathroom is tastefully done. The mixture of the different materials brings texture to the space. We love the addition of river rock in the shower.
Marc Christian Fine Cabinetry, 126-200 square feet
Why the judges love it: We can picture ourselves taking a bath in this space and relaxing. The beams the designer added are so cool, and the stacked stone is gorgeous. We love how the mirrors are hung on the stacked stone.
Dashing Design by Elizabeth Kavlok, more than 200 square feet
