Today, our staff stopped by the Farmers Market in Downtown Kirkwood to check out their selection of fresh fruits and veggies and other delicious, homemade treats. The Market is located in the heart of the historic neighborhood, and its prime location makes it the perfect place for the community to eat, shop and enjoy time with friends and family.

Opened in 1976, the Market not only serves locally grown produce, but also baked goods, prepared meals and snacks, poultry, meat, cheeses and plants. For the best selection, frequent visitors suggest going on early Saturday mornings. While they are open for business all summer long, they also have special seasonal markets open for Halloween and the holidays.

Hours of operation:

Monday-Friday: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Saturdays: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Sundays: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
