Tracy and Chad Smith, co-owners of Long Row Lavender Farm, make bath and body goodies for their love of flowers. “I wanted to create products people would be proud of having in their homes,” Tracy explains. “It’s true that lavender’s soothing smell offers plenty of aromatherapy benefits,” she says, “but I also wanted to make products that would be beautiful, like our flowers.”

Castle Design transformed this 33-square-foot powder room into a tribute to nature and all its beauty. Playing off the homeowner’s outdoor koi pond, Phillip Jeffries’ Lilies wallcovering in Golden Pond adorns the walls and adds additional depth. Details like the THG Profile Lalique clear cross-handle faucet and Vitraform freestanding sink basin with delicate leaf motifs, work to bring the outdoors in. A polished nickel crystal light fixture completes the space and lights the entrance into this tranquil retreat.

The homeowner of this Central West End home is no stranger to hosting. Looking for the perfect powder room for guests who attend his extravagant outdoor pool parties, he turned to Castle Design to create a ‘seductive yet playful’ space. Working around the carriage house’s original footprint, the team created a new floor plan to maximize the space while maintaining important utility features. Glossy metals and fanciful patterns offer a sophisticated take on a nautical theme.

C&M Interiors faced the important task of maintaining the historic feel of this second empire revival home’s bathroom renovation. Looking to create a playful and welcoming space for the homeowner’s son, the space is full of classic elements and whimsical charm. Covered in shades of blue and penny tile flooring, the bathroom’s creative ambience is accented by Schumacher horse-patterned wallpaper on the ceiling. Gold detailing in the vanity, light fixtures and tub add to the renovation’s historic charm.

A breathtaking but non-functional bathroom was given a much needed makeover by Karr Bick Kitchen + Bath. Adjustments to the bathroom’s layout were key, removing the sink from in front of the toilet and adjusting the previous cave-like tiled shower. Natural stone countertops and a marble mosaic floor replace the older, decorative tile. A double vanity sits along the old shower wall and the wall-mounted faucets add additional “getting ready” storage.
