Check out this stunning home that will be featured on the on the Junior League Home Design Tour on Saturday, April 16 {148 Wyckcliffe Town and Country MO 63141}.
The owners of this home knew it was the perfect fit when the walked in, they just didn't know how much they were going to change it. The pair fell in love with the gorgeous, French style of the home and its central, park-like location on three magnificent acres. The "bones" of the house were beautiful, with open rooms and floor-to-ceiling original stone climbing all the way up to the gorgeous wood beamed ceiling in the living room. While on the tour, you will definitely feel the warm, welcoming vibe of the front entrance as light enters in from the floor-to-ceiling windows and long front hallway that connects the living room, family room and second floor stairyway.
The family spends most of their time in the oh-so-cozy kitchen and sitting area complete with a stone range, built-in sitting nook and fireplace. The second floor looks down into the expansive family room, and houses arguably the best craft room in St. Louis. The craft room has all of the desks, nooks, and storage areas a crafter could dream of, and echoes the home's warm feel as it is typically drenched in sunlight coming in from massive windows. The view from these windows is just as breathtaking as you can see a play area for the homeowner's grandchildren, a pool, gardens and beautiful, mature trees.
