Conduit is your friend when working in outdoor spaces. Consider placing empty conduit for future low-voltage needs, such as landscape lighting, speakers when you want music or outdoor Wi-fi. Only outdoor-rated products should be used outside: please do not use your indoor TV outside! Consider purpose-built outdoor televisions because they look and perform better - and won't be an electrical hazard! Other purpose-built products exist that blend technology into the architecture or garden, such as landscape speakers that look like outdoor lights or hidden insect screens that disappear into the pergola.  Photography by Triple R Photography.

Andy Hauck, Audio Advice
Outdoor entertainment spaces have become incredibly popular. Outdoor technology has advanced to keep up with this trend. The days of rock shaped speakers are gone. We now have solutions that can layer high fidelity audio around your entire outdoor space as background music or turn it up for concert level sound. There is a level of engineering involved in getting the sound right and pre-planning is key.

Joe McLafferty, Fusion Tech Companies
Creating a unique outdoor entertainment area is about moving beyond a basic patio and designing a space with distinct "rooms" that reflect your personality. By blending high-impact structural changes with thoughtful, personal details, you can transform an ordinary yard into a functional, year-round retreat. You can take it a step further and create a lighting scene to set either a party mood or just a relaxing night outside mood.

Alan Robinson, Streib Company
We offer outdoor TVs, weather resistant speakers, cameras and WiFi. With streaming services on the rise, a robust Network/WiFi system is essential. Sound systems such as SONOS and cameras like RING and NEST also rely on a strong WIFI network, but can certainly be installed in exterior areas alongside those Network systems.
