Masterful Mosaic
Stepping in to the 30-square-foot powder room, your eye is immediately drawn to the dramatic platinum tile mosaic. K-Build Design conceptualized and executed this stunning bath. Bordered in a deep-gray marble to coordinate with the Martha Stewart paint collection Thundercloud on the floating vanity and trim, the tiled wall adds a unique art element to the small space. The veined-marble floor climbs up the wall and frames the mosaic piece. The custom vanity allows for plenty of storage. The powder room is lit by a combination of a Eurofase sconce with soft LED lights under the vanity and one 4-inch LED can light on separate switches. Platinum accessories complete the polished look.

Why the judges love it:
This powder room is tasteful and sophisticated while also functional. The floating vanity really opens up the space. The tiled mosaic adds an artistic element reminiscent of a waterfall with no water.
