1. By IRG and designer Sarah Hoover. Every couple’s dream comes true in this primary bathroom designed by Sarah Hoover using IRG’s spectacular Azul Macauba Quartzite. This project is a perfect example of how using a slab of natural stone as an accent wall can be a wonderful complement to tile in a bathroom setting. Photography by Jean Bai Photography.

2. By Key Residential. This contemporary shower features a completely curved design from the tile walls to the shower glass. Luxurious plumbing fixtures, bench seat and mosaic tile make this circular shower a design standout in this master suite. Photography by LAIR Architectural + Interior Photography.

3. By Wendy Glaister Interiors. This universal design is not utilitarian or spare, and each element, fitting and finish is carefully designed for function and beauty. The wall tile is installed in a classic herringbone pattern in the client's favorite blue color, which inspired the designer to create the custom color for the custom vanity cabinet, which also included an extra tall toe kick in case anyone was in a wheelchair. 4. By Design Me by Mahlah. The theme for this La Selva Beach, California bathroom is Coastal Americana. The clients wanted a classic design that incorporated color, a coastal feel and a little whimsy. The designer maximized the tall sloped ceiling behind the freestanding bathtub with this gorgeous hexagon glass mosaic tile by Oceanside Tile. A simple sandblasted "wave" glass panel separates the wet area. Shiplap walls, satin bronze fixtures, a Hale Navy blue vanity and wood details add to the beachy feel. 5. By Mercury Mosaics. The stunning shower wall features Moroccan Fish Scales in 1017E Sea Mist. The tile is a truly unique blue-green, jewel-toned glaze with a glossy finish and high variation, which gives the tile incredible depth and character. Every piece of tile is carefully crafted by hand in Minnesota by a team of skilled artisans. Photography by Tessa Sollway Photography.

6. By Fireclay Tile and designer Claire Thomas. The designer covered this bathroom's walls and floors in 2x6 tiles in Fireclay Tile's Evergreen, in a straight set pattern that pays homage to the home's mid-century roots. Pulling inspiration straight from the view out of the large bathroom windows, this rich shade of green mirrors nature outside while providing a striking complement to the copper soaking tub inside.
