Meet the judges: 

Dick Busch, Dick Busch Architects

Dick Busch has been involved in residential architecture for over 40 years. Starting his own firm in 1992, he and his staff have specialized in residential projects of all sizes and styles ranging from a 400-square-foot pergola to a 23,000-square-foot country manor.  Dick Busch Architects has relationships with a wide range of consultants, including engineers, interior designers, builders and contractors.

Elizabeth Kavlock, Dashing Design by Elizabeth

Elizabeth has been reinventing space and existing floor plans, customizing designs and specifying product for projects of all sizes. Specializing in blending the mind of a contractor and the delicacy of a designer, she has filled a role that both her clients and contractors find invaluable for an enjoyable execution. Wether executing her own remodel projects, or assisting local builders to fulfill their clients' visions, she uses her long-standing solid relationships and education to tailor each experience to each unique client. Thinking outside the box, pushing limits, trying new things and making the process FUN is what fuels her desire to impress and deliver-for the past 15 years.

Kathy Israel, Accent on Cabinets

Kathy mixes 25 years of kitchen and bath design experience along with an expert intuition to create award-winning kitchens and baths throughout the United States. Using ingenious solutions to make dreams become reality for her customers’ homes, Kathy focuses on each client and project from concept to completion. Kathy strives to use products that are manufactured in the USA, and she believes that low-carbon footprints are vital to our future. 

Keith Gegg, Gegg Design & Cabinetry

Keith Gegg established Gegg Design & Cabinetry in 1996. In 2003, he opened a small showroom and in 2006 moved to a larger space to accommodate all of his product offerings. Keith’s goal is to provide clients with a design that reflects their living habits and personality. His passion for design, focus on details and proportion, combined with a degree in mechanical engineering, are the foundation for his design approach.
