Designer Heidi Sowatsky purchased her franchise of Decorating Den 11 years ago. In addition to creating beautiful designs for her clients, she is also the St. Louis-area regional manager for Decorating Den. Over the years, Heidi has won several design and sales awards.

SLHL: Explain the in-home decorating service you offer.
Heidi: We bring design solutions (samples, photos, etc.) to the client, from a single item to a whole room redesign; windows, walls, floors, furniture, accessories.  We work with the client from the selection, ordering, inspecting, delivering, installing, and arranging.

SLHL: What trends are you currently seeing in home design?
Heidi: Simplify. De-clutter. Streamline.  Clean out those bookshelves and only use what really matters to you. We are painting gold walls, greige, and adding punches of bold color.
