1. Luxurious Laundry
By Dina Bandman Interiors. Designed for the 2017 San Francisco Showcase "Laundering in the Lap of Luxury" is the ultimate laundry retreat featuring a bath area for the pampered pooch of the house. Enveloped in de Gournay's "Thousand Li" wallpaper, this space is meant to make the chore of laundry loads of fun. No reason to sacrifice luxury for practicality when you can have it all. This multifunctional space features not only the essential washer and dryer, but a sink, hanging rod, shelves for storing cleaning supplies and plenty of storage.
2. Top Wish
By Jana Valdez, Principal Interior Designer, Haven Design and Construction. This fun and functional dog shower was at the top of the clients' wish list during their home renovation. The floor to ceiling wall tile not only adds texture and interest, but it also makes cleaning up after bathing pets a breeze. The seamless quartz shower curb is both beautiful and durable. Octagon tiles repeat the transitional design and color scheme of the home.
3. Muddy Paws Be Gone
By Traci Zeller Interiors. This laundry room includes a dog shower so the homeowners could bathe their dog. The door leads to the spacious back yard, so if the dog gets muddy, he can come in and be washed before going through the house. Of course, the shower does double duty as a place to hang clothing to dry. The robin’s egg blue cabinets add liveliness, and the wallpaper is, of course, a salute to man’s best friend. The outlined silhouettes of dogs makes the wallpaper fresh and modern, and it serves as the perfect complement to the classic white subway tile with black grout.
4. Those Lucky Dogs
By Amy Storm & Company. With a turf covered back yard, you would think the two resident 65-pound dogs wouldn’t get all that dirty, but every speck of dirt shows on their white fur. Hence the need for a dog shower in the mudroom. The designer went all out, complete with hand sprayer, swinging glass doors and walls clad in tile because when the dogs are wet, they don’t sit quietly and drip dry.
5. Tons of Storage
By Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. Wellborn Cabinet’s Premier Series was used throughout this design, with the Saybrook door style in maple and finished in the newly launched gray mist with a granite glaze. The gray tones are at the core of any contemporary interior scheme and provide the crisp and clean foundations needed to incorporate the look. The green tiling and wall color are subtle accent colors, which enhance the overarching contemporary feel.
