This formerly dated bathroom has been reimagined as a luxurious and serene retreat. The new layout includes a spacious walk-in closet, an expansive shower, generous vanity space, dedicated linen storage, a separate makeup area and a sculptural freestanding soaking tub. A recessed vanity is framed by an elegant arched opening, while a custom limestone arch introduces the steam shower with a sense of grandeur. Inside, dramatic floor-to-ceiling marble-look slabs offer striking visual impact with the benefit of easy maintenance. Rich alder wood cabinetry pairs beautifully with a tumbled marble floor that flows uninterrupted into the zero-entry shower. Patterned marble tile provides a sophisticated backdrop for the vanities and soaking tub, while leathered quartz countertops and wall-mounted faucets enhance both style and functionality. A hidden jib door cleverly conceals the toilet closet, which reveals a playful wallpaper surprise that complements the etched marble accent tiles surrounding the tub and vanity.

Why the judges love it:

The sun-drenched atmosphere of this bath provides an elegant and airy oasis. There is a skillful sense of respect for and harmony in texture and color. The tile and fixtures give this room an artisan feel, while rhythm in the arches above the vanity and doorways shows care for cohesion and consistency.
