Gold winner Powder Room - Castle Design and Mitchell Wall Architecture and Design - TIE

Why the judges love it:

We love this fun and unique play on neutrals. The symmetry in this powder room is outstanding.

The homeowners desired a powder room design that would “wow” guests and make them feel special. Castle Design layered neutral elements to keep with the understated color palette throughout the rest of the room. The “Drop System” sconces by Lindsay Adelman Studio add a bold statement and a little fun and whimsy. The dramatic gray and gold veins of the Neolith Calacatta Luxe Sintered stone material elevates the neutral-colored room and marries the finishes of the fixtures. An undermount white sink features a wall-mount faucet in brushed bronze. The aged brass and antique bronze mirror is the perfect mix of metals to complement the scheme, and the rounded edges offer curvilinearity to soften the space. The entire powder room is covered in a Phillip Jeffries Japanese paper weave giving warmth and texture.
